was incorporated in the year of 1995 as a sole
proprietary company owned by Mrs. Tasneem Akhtar
(W/o Mr. Parwez Akhtar). Mr. Parwez Akhtar, is the
promoter and Executive Director of this Group and
posses more than 2 decades of active working
experience in the field of Tanning and export of
Leather and Leather Products. His two sons, Mr.
Shadab Akhter & Mr. Aamir Akhter are the Director
of the company. They have actively participated in
the management of the company from last five years
and looking after the abroad market.
Today, this company is one of the leading
exporters of Wet Blue Hides and Semi finished and
Finished leathers and have customers from Europe
to Far East. The company has established itself in
the International market with timely and quality
supplies of its merchandise.
United Tanneries is located in Eastern Nepal
producing high quality Wet Blue hides/skins, Crust
Leather & Finished Leathers in all sizes suitable
for Shoes, Furniture/Upholstery, Garments, Bag
Leathers, Leather Goods. At present, the company
is exporting about 90% of their produce and the
remaining is sold for the local manufacturers of
shoes & leather products within Nepal.
Today, United Tanneries have established strong
connections with the customers all over the world
with the strength of timely supplies and right
quality of the merchandise. The customers of Wet
Blue are spread from China, Hong Kong, Japan,
Thailand, Philippines, Italy, Portugal. And
regularly supplying our quality Finished Leathers
to our customers in Japan, Hong Kong, China and
India.
The tannery produces about 2.0 million sq.ft of
Wet Blue every year for exports. Besides Wet Blue,
company also exports Crust/Finished Leathers of
about 1.0 million sq.ft. every year. Buffalo is
the strength of Nepal and we are proud to be one
of the major exporters. We also posses the best
technical team to produce the best Wet Blue/Crust
according to the requirement of customer.
